David Lehrer serves as CBE’s Communications Director, where he works to catalyze research collaborations, activities, and events with CBE’s team and industry leaders. He has been a key contributor to several CBE research topics, including post-occupancy evaluation, high-performance facades, and the visualization of building information. He has presented and written widely on these and other related topics. Prior to joining CBE, David practiced architecture for over a decade on a broad range of project types and led sustainability programs. He serves on the Advisory Council for the Emerging Technologies Coordinating Council (ETCC) and was an adjunct faculty member at the California College of the Arts. A licensed architect in California, David holds an M.Arch degree from UC Berkeley and a certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from the Stanford Center for Professional Development, and is LEED Accredited.
