Wes Sullens leads Materials & Resources activities at the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council. Wes is responsible for global materials criteria related to construction waste, product manufacturing, raw material sourcing, material transparency, circular economy, and embodied carbon. He oversees Materials & Resources topics in the LEED Rating System, TRUE Zero Waste Certification, and policy and advocacy initiatives. He has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors for 25 years on broad topics including energy efficiency, supply chains, chemicals transparency, and green building policy.
