Bernadette Del Chiaro is Senior Vice President with the Environmental Working Group (EWG), heading up the organization’s operations in California. Prior, she headed up the California Solar & Storage Association (CALSSA) for twelve years, representing the diverse businesses that design, manufacture and build clean, distributed energy solutions in California. In the early 2000s, Ms. Del Chiaro was the Director of Clean Energy and Global Warming Programs at Environment California and the Western States Regional Director for Environment America. She is a leading voice for clean energy and has authored several reports on a variety of energy topics. She is widely quoted in national, international and local media outlets. A native Californian, Del Chiaro holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and lives in Sacramento with her husband and two teenage children.
