Name
USGBC Local Government Leadership Summit (Add On)
Date & Time
Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Description

Join USGBC for a half-day local government leadership summit focused on city-scale sustainability, zero waste and circularity. Cities, towns and counties around the US are using LEED for Cities to measure and manage their jurisdictions sustainability and quality of life. But most places score poorly in the rating system’s Materials & Resources category. This summit will bring our LEED for Cities and TRUE experts together with sustainability leaders in the region to talk about solutions to advancing progress across solid waste management in local government.

Consider attending if you are local government staff, including city and county planners, sustainability and resilience teams, building and facility managers, city/county managers, board and commission members, and elected officials; regional government agency staff; local NGOs that work with cities and counties; consultants that engage with local governments in the region; students and emerging professionals; USGBC members; and all others interested in learning more and contributing to our discussions.
