Carli Schoenleber is a Senior Communications Manager, Content and Engagement Specialist at Verdani Partners. She holds a M.S. degree in Forest Ecosystems and Society from Oregon State University, where she focused on pro-environmental messaging. In her role, she develops thought leadership that navigates the complexities of global sustainability, climate change, and regulatory trends. Across topics like decarbonization strategy, climate disclosure frameworks, nature-based solutions, and the business case for sustainability, she specializes in translating complex sustainability challenges into actionable insights for diverse audiences. Carli has been the lead author of most reports in the Verdani Institute for the Built Environment's Sustainable Built Environment Guidance series, including the upcoming fifth report, Pathways to Portfolio-Level Decarbonization. She previously worked as a project manager for Seed Consulting Group and program coordinator for USGBC-Los Angeles.
