Kathryn Soter is the Executive Director of the Good Future Design Alliance. She most recently worked at Henrybuilt in business development. Kathryn also ran her own manufacturersʼ rep firm
focused on supplying furnishings for hospitality and residential projects. Prior to pursuing a long- held interest in working in the interior design industry, she spent 23 years at Condé Nast Media
Group in an advertising sales and marketing role for The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler, and Bon Appétit. Kathryn got her start at Grey Global – San Francisco, an advertising and marketing agency. She is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College, and later studied Interior Architecture at the Academy of Art University. When not planning the future of the GFDA, Kathryn enjoys an aquatic
life living on a floating home in Sausalito.
