Karin Perissinotto is the Sustainability Manager for CalPortland, bringing her unique insights and experience from more than 25 years in the field of sustainability and construction. CalPortland is a leading construction materials company operating across the western United States, specializing in sand, gravel, cement, concrete, and asphalt. Karin works on corporate sustainability initiatives and actively promotes sustainable practices industry-wide. Karin is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts and holds a Master's in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. Credentialed as a LEED AP BD + C and WELL AP, she is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions and enhancing community resilience. A dedicated sustainability ambassador, Karin embodies an inspiring commitment to environmental stewardship.
Karin is married and has two college-aged children. She is an active swimmer and enjoys competing with her swim team in U.S. Masters Swimming competitions.
