Celia Hoag serves as the Regional Sustainability Leader for Southwest and Central region at DPR Construction, bringing over 17 years of experience in implementing sustainable solutions in the built environment. With expertise in sustainable energy, adaptive reuse, and construction processes, she has a deep understanding of integrating sustainability into complex projects. As a licensed Professional Engineer and building science expert, Celia offers a unique perspective on client challenges and adoption barriers.
She spearheads critical initiatives at DPR, including the single-use plastic-free jobsite campaign—aiming to save 5 million bottles from the ocean—and promotes a zero-waste culture through salvage analysis and education. A certified TRUE Advisor, Celia was named a 2023 San Diego Business Journal Woman of Influence and an ENR 2024 Top Young Professional. Most recently, she was elected to the USGBC California Board of Directors, a role that reinforces her influence in advancing high performance, low carbon building practices across the industry.
