Speaker Bio
Heidi Jandris grew up in her family's concrete block business and her interests lie at the intersection of concrete masonry manufacturing, embodied carbon accounting, operational energy use, resiliency, and industry research. Her work includes concrete masonry technical resources, EPD (environmental product declaration) and PCR (product category rule) development, whole-building comparative LCA, building energy simulation, and dry-cast concrete carbonation and sequestration research. She currently develops educational content for the Block Design Collective, a program of the Concrete Masonry CheckOff, works with the Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association as a sustainability consultant and is active with SE 2050. She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Systems from Northeastern University, a
Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, and a Whole-Building LCA Professional micro-credential from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
