Mersy Maradiaga is the Southwest Sustainability Manager at Turner Construction, where she has spent nine years building a career that bridges field operations, estimating, and sustainability. She began as a Field Engineer before joining Turner’s corporate sustainability team, where she analyzed the carbon impacts of construction and demolition waste using companywide waste data. After gaining experience in estimating, Mersy served as a Sustainability Engineer on the Intuit Dome project before stepping into her current regional role.

Today, she works with project teams and trade partners across the Southwest to reduce construction waste, address embodied carbon, track resource consumption, and identify practical ways to reduce the environmental impact of construction. Mersy was also the first Turner employee to earn the USGBC TRUE Zero Waste credential.
