Affordable housing sits at the center of climate justice, yet providers are often asked to do more with less—while residents face the highest risks from extreme heat, poor indoor environmental quality, and rising utility burdens. This session explores how affordable housing developers and owners can leverage data visualization, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve sustainability outcomes while reducing operating costs and supporting resident stability. We developed workflows to streamline maintenance of our extensive renewable energy portfolio, optimize waste management, and identify energy poverty.
