Parking & Getting There
Please plan ahead: Parking at LKIC is very limited!
The LKIC parking lot has limited availability and cannot accommodate all attendees. An all-day parking pass is $10. We strongly encourage carpooling, ride-sharing, or using public transportation whenever possible.
Getting Here via Public Transit:
- Bus Line: LADOT DASH A (Little Tokyo / City West) and get off at Palmetto St. & S. Hewitt St. (just a short walk to the USGBC LA office)
- Metro Rail Alternative: If taking the Metro train, the closest station is Little Tokyo / Arts District Station (A & E Lines), followed by a ~10-15 minute walk or a quick DASH A bus connection.
If you plan to drive, please consider these alternative parking options in downtown LA. Availability and rates may vary, so we recommend checking before you arrive. Nearby parking alternatives:
- A: At Mateo Public Parking Garage (2 mins walking) - $2 per 15 mins ($8/hr) | $16 daily max | $10 evening flat rate
- B: 436 S Hewitt St Parking (4 mins walking)
- C: 405 S Hewitt St Parking (5 mins walking) - $10–$16 daily flat rate (located directly down the street; pay via QR code/ParkMobile app)
- D: 963 E 4th St Parking (7 mins walking) - $6/hour (covered garage; reserve/pay via ParkMobile)
Please allow extra time to find parking and walk to the venue. Do not rely on the LKIC lot as your only parking option.
