Game Night for a Greener Future!
It’s time to swap blueprints for games and strategy meetings for some serious fun.
On September 18, we’re coming together to celebrate something big: our Environmental Justice Project is expanding across four regions in California. It’s a milestone worth marking, and the best way we know how is with good food, games, and the people who make this work possible: you.
If you’ve heard about or attended our legendary mini-golf events in previous years, get ready for our reimagined version.
This year, you’ll get the *rare chance* to send our Executive Director, Ben Stapleton, plunging into a dunk tank, for only $20 a shot.
Yes, you read that right: a chance at bragging rights, all while supporting a cause that matters.
This is your chance to meet peers from across California, share ideas, and celebrate the work we’re doing to make sustainable building fun, impactful, and inclusive.
Test your aim, cheer on your friends, and maybe even capture a dunk tank victory for socials (don’t forget to tag us @usgbcca!). Between games, enjoy great food, drinks, and conversation with fellow green building enthusiasts.
What to expect:
🌽 Cornhole battles
🪵 Giant Jenga
🔵 Fast-paced Connect4
🏓 Lawn pong
🌮 Plant-forward tacos & 🍹 drinks
Mark your calendars, bring your friends, colleagues, and your A-game!

About USGBC-CA's Environmental Justice Projects
USGBC-CA's Environmental Justice Project began in 2016 with the goal of bridging the gap between social equity and environmental resiliency as we recognize certain communities are more impacted by effects of climate change. Historical injustices, de-facto segregation, and geographic location collaborate to create the resource disparities seen in California today, making equity a critical component of building a sustainable city for all residents.
You're also invited to the IWBI Healthy Homes Summit
We’re excited to partner with International WELL Building Institute to co-host the Healthy Homes Summit. This important event will bring together experts and advocates to explore strategies that make homes healthier, safer and more sustainable—especially for communities most impacted by climate change and environmental injustice.
