About the Evening
More than an awards dinner. A gathering of the people building what's next.
The Green Gala is USGBC California's signature annual event — a celebration of the builders, designers, advocates, and leaders who are making California a model for sustainable development. For 22 years, it has brought together over 500 professionals from across the state for an evening of recognition, connection, and community.
This year's theme, California State Parks, takes its inspiration from the remarkable ecological diversity of our state — from redwood forests and coastal dunes to high desert and chaparral. The venues, décor, programming, and experience all reflect the landscapes we are working to protect.
More than a celebration, the Green Gala is a call to action. Each ticket sold, each bid placed in the silent auction, and each conversation started here helps power USGBC-CA's work across the state for another year.
Attendance is open to all. Whether you're a longtime member or attending for the first time, the Green Gala is your invitation to be part of this community.

The Wendy and Leonard Goldberg Ballroom at the Audrey Irmas Pavillion.
New this year, the Green Gala moves to one of Los Angeles' most striking event spaces — the Wendy and Leonard Goldberg Ballroom at the Audry Irmas Pavillion.
One highlight of the Audrey Irmas Pavilion is the Wendy and Leonard Goldberg Ballroom. Crowned with a barrel- vaulted ceiling.

What to expect on December 10.
The evening moves through cocktails and silent auction bidding, a seated dinner, and the full awards ceremony — culminating in the announcement of this year's Project of the Year. Finalists in every category will be in the room.
Doors Open · Cocktail Reception
Welcome drinks, silent auction bidding opens, and the chance to explore the immersive California State Parks installations throughout the venue.
Passed Appetizer Service Begins
Departing from prior years, a traditional seated dinner will be replaced with appetizers, snack tables, and desserts.
Awards Ceremony
The 22nd Annual California Green Building & Community Awards — all seventeen categories presented live, with winners announced live.
Silent Auction Closes · Live Announcement
Final bids are placed and winners announced. Proceeds directly support USGBC-CA's education and advocacy programs.
Networking & Celebration
The room opens for an evening of celebration, connection, and continued conversation about building a better California.
